Adolescence
His pants, loose, still warm from his body,
hanged off a nail on the wall; pants emptied
off his body.
He got up, barefoot,
touched it absentmindedly with his hand, feeling
that he touched a strange body without fear or
as if a stranger was touching him; he closed
his eyes and listened to the panting of the night
outside.
