GREEK SINCE THE OLD DAYS
Antioch boasts of its magnificent buildings,
and its beautiful streets; of the surrounding
countryside, and the great number of people
living there. It boasts that it is the home
of glorious kings; and of the artists
and wise men, of the filthy rich
but prudent merchants. But above all Antioch
boasts most incomparably that it is a Greek city
