HALF AN HOUR
Neighborhoods change a little after twilight
men return home from their offices
store owners close their business, the squares empty.
And then, girls go out to the streets slowly
with distorted legs in carriages
funny children, women with coaled faces
men who’s fingers have been injured by machines.
They go out for half an hour so that they take a breath
in the empty streets and the sealed windows.
