“Good morning Sister, I’m here for the job, my name is Anton Jonas” Anton said to Sister Gladys as her name tag showed.

The forties something nun raised her eyes and perused him as if weighing his abilities for the job position they needed to fill. The large crucifix resting on her chest was by a strange stroke of fate a bit off the middle of her chest as if wanting to attach itself to her left breast onto which it was most comfortably resting. The nun showed him the chair and perused him again with wonder spread on her eyes whether the young man was a suitable candidate for the job.

“Have a seat and I’ll inform the priest responsible for the personnel” she said and got up.

Anton kept his eyes on her behinds as she walked to the office to the right of the entrance. She knocked at the door. A voice was heard telling her to go inside. She opened the office door and walked in. A few seconds later she re-appeared at the door and signalled to Anton to come to the office. Anton walked over and he entered the office as Sister Gladys gestured to him. Inside he noticed the same big sign Looking Unto Jesus under a crucifix mounted on the wall behind the desk of a skinny blonde pastor, about forty five years old as Anton estimated, who smiled and showed him a chair. Anton sat. The piercing eyes of the priest examined him in a flash and his smile intensified a little and brightened his face. Anton smiled back and waited for the priest to talk first; the priest who was answering to the name Father Nicolas as a sign with his name was resting on top of the desk.
