Ship whistles they arrive they depart One anchor shines
Soldiers in the washrooms One woman with a yellow umbrella
People mingle they part – mostly they part At dusk the
lighthouse
keeper went down to the dock He unfolds a big kerchief
he folds it back and puts it in his pocket with
that deep lonely gesture of non-confession
