The Firmament

The firmament in the gray of the morning
gropes at the eyes of the dark
glistening at dawn.

So called, the firmament
totally free
of attachment,

the glittering firmament,
alert and free,

opens to us
a new sensory field,
a new energy field,
the power field of the poem.

ΟΙΚΟΥΜΕΝΗ

Στο γκρίζο του πρωϊνού η Οικουμένη

κρατιέται απ’ τη λαμπερή ματιά

της αυγής,

αυτή η Οικουμένη,

πανελεύθερη, λάμπουσα

μας παρουσιάζει

ένα καινούργιο αισθησιακό πεδίο

ένα νέο πεδίο ενέργειας,

το δυναμικό πεδίο του ποιήματος.
