All seemed settled on that front until Eteo heard from Mario that some of his associates would also like to have some shares. Eteo suggested they pop into the office and open accounts so that he could place some shares there for them. Over the next three days Logan and Helena were kept busy opening twenty-five new accounts for Mario’s buddies, who trooped in with their cheques ready for the one thousand shares they each wanted to buy. The only person who hadn’t asked for any stock was Bradley, and Eteo thought he knew why. Just before the end of the trading session one day, he walked to his boss’s office
“Hello Brad,” he said, tapping lightly on the half-open glass. “I was about to leave but wanted to come and talk to you for a minute.”
“What’s on your mind, my Cretan,” Bradley asked with an easy laugh.
“Would you care for a piece of my Nostra Ventures? I’m working on the list now.”
“Would you recommend that I take some, Eteo?”
“I would say put 50 million shares away.”
“Sounds pretty substantial. How many names do you want me to give you with those 50 million shares?”
“Whatever you’re comfortable with, maybe 10, 15?”
“Okay, 10 it is,” Bradley said and shook Eteo’s hand.
“Should I treat them in a special way when they come to trade?”
“Nothing special. The market always tells us,” Eteo added and walked out of the office in a very good mood. He now had about 300 million placed with others in Pacific Trends. He had to place the rest himself. Back in his office he reviewed the list of clients he had in mind and realized he had placed more than half of the remaining shares already. Logan could work on the rest as the days went by.
