“Yes.”
“Thank God. I thought perhaps other people had already jumped
the gun.”
“Have you talked to any clients?”
“Yes, I have a few good orders.”
“Place them for the opening tomorrow morning.”
“Yes, of course.”
The phone rang just as Logan left the office. It was Herb.
“How are you doing?”
“It’s all good, Herbert, not to be concerned.”
“Very good.”
He put the phone down just as the other line began to ring. This
time it was Yannis.
“Good afternoon. You called me?”
“I’ve got something for you, something good.”
“Okay. How good? How much should I go for?”
“Very good. I’ll use all three accounts and get you a hundred.”
“Okay, good. When?”
“From tomorrow early in the morning.”
“Okay. When are you passing by to have some coffee?”
“Definitely this weekend. I’ll call you. I’ll come to the house.”
“Good.”
“Have a great day, Yannis.”
“You too.”
The trading day was over. Looking over the trading on Platinum
Properties, he noticed he hadn’t gotten any more shares, and he knew
that John, the head trader, would kill his last purchase order. However,
he wanted to place a couple of new ones for the opening, and
for this he called Logan to his office.
“Place the first order for Yannis’s accounts. Go up to a hundred.
When you fill Yannis’s order, then follow with your first group.”
He had instructed Logan to divide their clients into groups based
on the frequency with which each client would buy into something
or not. Some clients trusted them and bought everything they recommended.
Others needed a bit more of a push, and some only
wanted to play things they had personal knowledge of.
