Alike a human with two arms
extended to the elements
fingers playing with the wind
feet rooted deep in the ground
lips hymning
the Great Spirit’s benevolence
the gigantic sequoia
I am: vascular portion of the trunk
and branches I control
a miracle to the eyes
I assume the role of the imposter
cry on lips joyous
fiddler serenading over soft void
look at me, crystal lake
I reflect in your dream
