Marginal
Narrow strip, fine print, unreadable
unacceptable by the normal
centre of page unapproachable
exclusivity defined by margins
letters in small font, undecipherable
life placed aside in narrow strip
of paper, the exiled are meant to be
separated, isolated, forbidden
from being part of the normal
as defined by Oxford English
Dictionary, naming, establishing
accepting some at the expense of
others living in the margins of
time and space, outcast, the other,
always meant to be a good
servant, a plethora of examples
for the man who left the place of
his birth under the margins of
another era, moved to a new land
to be a marginal, decimal,
insignificant piece of an undefined
whole in another era and finally
accept his lot: the unexpected
conclusion of man who
chooses the vague margins
of his freedom in statelessness
