Though I prefer that you don’t.

I want you to feel it impossible to live without me.
My insurance agent cares for me too. My brothers care for me. My friends too who have never left me alone since you left me.
They all care for me.

And show it to me.
From you I expected something more than caring.
Now you understand why I asked you to go? How in my way I left you too?
Because I wanted that extra, I wanted more than your care.
I wanted you to look at me in my eyes and tell me “you loved me”
I know, you think that you have never said that to any other woman. But I want only that. With that alone I can live, I’ll chase it for the rest of my life.
Even if it will be futile effort as they say, it doesn’t exist anymore.
