Those who Fought for the Achaean League
Gallant you were, who fought and fell in glory,
unafraid of those who were victorious everywhere.
You are immaculate, though Diaos and Kritolaos were to blame.
When the Greeks want to boast, they will say
“Our nation breeds men such as these”, about you.
So marvelous their praise for you shall be.
