POEM BY PHAIDON THEOFILOU
STRAIGHT SOUND
Words are of female gender
they flirt with all five senses
add and subtract to and from their value
making fun of the poets’ agony
the conceit of rhetors.
For a moment they grasp their true meaning
in front of the saints’ humility.
Finally they brazenly get justified
in the lips of men
with lust on their tail wind.
