The Term sky
shrub or knife
am I laid down or am I active
is light unprecedented or old?
Walking up the stairs I admit
I don’t know whether I go up or down.
Am I finding the answer
or total darkness?
Why we call this lust
and the other pain
since when the body gives in,
hanging or shivering,
does it know whether
it enjoys or bleeds
inexperienced as it is
before the future that will butcher it?
What does it mean to the sky
that the light descends now?
since wherever you look
even in darkness
even into Hades
light exists there too.
Pain is an endless dark length
that you recognize since you don’t
dream of light in there anymore.
