He presses the drill against the wood
to open the proper hole for the wire to
pass through from the central
box to the various places of the house
resembling a body with its brain
stationed in the fuse box and wires
making the nerves transferring
energy to all parts of the body and
the electrician finishes the hole before
he aims his drill against the next stud
so, energy can pass through to all
extremities of the house to which
they bring light, heat, endless power
connected to the energy source and
since the house resembles a body
why doesn’t time always come for
the body’s connection to its energy
source to suddenly disconnect?
