My Own Little Prince
Where are you tonight, my little Prince?
In which star you dwell?
I see the stardust falling from the sky and I know it’s you who sprinkle it down for me.
I extend my palms it falls on them, dusts me, like sugar the sweets we bake at Christmas and I go crazy for its sweetness.
I like you spend the night with me.
I gaze the stars and I smile at you where ever you may be, in whichever star you dwell.
You’ll never descend to Earth to meet me but it doesn’t bother me. It is enough that every time I look at the sky I know you look at me from up high, you feel me, you think of me, you care for me.
I’m the fox you have tamed.
Now I’m not like the other foxes.
Now, we both have something that others can’t understand.
We have our own truth.
