And Now?
And I stood there holding the scarf not knowing what to do with it.
I wanted to tie it around your neck, wanted to pass my hands through your hair, wanted to tell you that in the end you were right, that it was exactly as you said, and think, I recognized you as you walked by me even if I hadn’t ever seen you, but I didn’t say anything, I couldn’t, I only smoked and sipped my drink and felt my head buzzing and spinning and I listened to my heartbeat so intense, I thought even the people next to me heard it, and, and, and I couldn’t leave, nor I could stay.
Then I went to my car and remained in it motionless for an hour, until finally I turned on the key and drove myself home.
And now what?
As I remembered I recently read somewhere, that: “No one has ever said that life is just, only that is full of surprises.”
