Architecture
White hospital chairs, second visit,
crowds outside the dispensaries waiting
for another disabled chair, big pipes with casts
however if you look for a job don’t
examine the porcelain insulators,
managers always maintain a waiting line;
then other people, silent, as if shrouded,
push stretchers noiselessly; the same
hallways in all public buildings, the battalion
command office, the cigarette factory,
the Public Defender’s office, the inheritance
taxation offices.
Now that night has come I spend my time
drawing on worn-out canvases.
