Unexpected Visit
She began to anticipate unexpected future difficulties.
She first cleaned up the windowpanes of both windows,
then he cleaned the balcony door, and dusted the big
prints. Then he wiped the marble off the table. Then
the doorbell was heard. The soap and the dusting cloth
were thrown into one corner. The wheelchair of the
handicapped man was pushed to the other room,
and the wet papers were thrown behind the door. Left on
the chair was the forgotten plastic green bucket with
her long, orange, rubber gloves inside it. The other
woman with her white gloves was dead in the mirror.
The visitors with their open umbrellas entered one by one.
They smiled, probably towards the wall, they greeted
and left.
