Hourglass
In this world, light is constantly fading
in another, darkness is wrinkled and escapes
the moment that brings everything
and takes them back
like the sea wave
crushes, recedes and returns
I hope for the life of death
for the dead who are still alive
in their radiance
for the umbilical cord staring at itself
on the other side
for a voyage in another time and place
for an in-between station, change of direction
hourglass the speechless time
is recycled
on one hand that learns to know
and wants us to love it so, it’ll disembark us
whole in forgetfulness.
I hope in innocence since it transforms
the nonsense of life
into fleeting reflections
to those who won’t have time
to the impatience of moments in eternity
when the front door creaks open
to the once upon a time.
