Tram and Acropolis
Le soleil me brule et me rend lumineux
in the monotonous rain
the mud
the ashy atmosphere
trams go by
and through the
deserted agora,
that the rain rendered dead,
they go to
their destinations
my thought
filled with emotion
follows them tenderly until
they reach
the end of the line
where the fields start
that the rain drowns
how sad it would be, my God,
what a sorrow
unless my heart didn’t console me
the hope of the marbles
and the expectation of a bright sun ray
that would give new life
to the exquisite ruins
exactly like
the red flower
among the green leaves
