
Violation
He opened the door; stopped; looked inside: darkness.
Big roasting pans hanging on the walls. And suddenly,
at the far end, he saw the flash and the three hunters:
they were burning the wooden horse in the oven, it
stood erect in front of the red opening, (yet its eyes
were glassy, they couldn’t be burnt).
Then he closed the door quietly and went to the garden.
