V
All men disabled in various persecutions
came out as if from the bowels of earth
they multiplied in the thousands
we mixed up with them, we all yelled,
we demanded punishment
for the informers who destroyed
the revolution.
Then someone raised his voice and said:
“Great comrades, there was no informer
from those who were sacrificed
from the ones who sacrificed
nor from the persecuted
not from the persecutors because
the mistake wasn’t anybody else’s
but ours, inside of us, there where
we never searched.”
Then a great commotion started since
we all felt that the man who spoke
was the great danger.
Yet another man insisted:
“Comrades, inside of us,
the wall inside of us was the problem
the wall we never pushed down”
