τρομακτικές, λόγχες που τα κορμιά τρυπούσαν,

μαζί και βούρτσες και χωριστά σ’ ένα κουτί τα τέσσερα
καρφιά που σε άλλον σταυρό θα τον κάρφωναν
στον αιώνα τον άπαντα.
Κι ο Υπεράνθρωπος κοίταξε πολύ μακρυά στο τέλος
του μαύρου ορίζοντα και στωϊκά ψέλλισε: ‘Όλα είναι
τόσο καλά σαν στο Παράδεισο.’
