THE NAKED COUPLE
He got lost in the lush verdure
trying to find a path to the sea
while we stood somewhere higher and waited
he climbed back up puffing
let’ s go further, the slope here
is too steep
on the other hand
the naked couple looked fine
among the trees
two bodies
joined in one
like a valued trophy
of the most innocent exploration
which our guide pointed to us later
when they also descended
to the same beach
