They dragged the plough out to the field;
They brought the field inside the house;
an endless exchange shaped
the meaning of things.
The woman changed places with the swallow;
She sat in the swallow’s nest under the roof and chirped.
The swallow sat at the loom and weaved
stars, birds, fishes, flowers and sailing boats.
