Metal Jacket
Cheap blood
a metal jacket
dark red mark, pea-sized
cheap metal jacket slug
soft touch like a feather wound
hollow point bullet with
a metallic death sound
echoes through the evening’s ears
metal slug’s colloquialism:
I conquer
I burn in the sky
crystal spots are what matters
that ask and ripple through
voluptuous curves of nebula
full metal fiery bullet
hollow point of death
between heart and grave
hitching a ride through light and dust
to a point of touch
the size of a pea, dark red spot
